You built something impressive together. The careers, the home, the life that looks right from the outside. But somewhere between the schedules and the careful conversations that never quite get there, you lost the thread.
Not because you stopped loving each other. Because you stopped diving in.
Devoted Partnership is for couples who are done going through the motions. Who are ready to face the fullness of who they are together, with compassion, and build something that actually feels like what they imagined.
Whether you're good but know you could be great, or broken and know, not hope, not believe, KNOW, that you can rebuild: this is the process for that work.
Stop Tiptoeing.
Start Choosing Each Other.
You're successful by every external measure but the relationship feels hollow.
You have the skills, the language, the awareness and you're still stuck.
You've tried the books, maybe tried therapy, and you're still in your heads.
You're both done dancing around what's beneath the surface and ready to go there.
You want love that's a practice, not a performance.
This is for you if:
Why a Weekend? Why Not Weekly?
Weekly therapy is exactly right for a lot of people at a lot of moments in life. The rhythm of coming back each week, building trust, processing slowly, that model is genuinely transformative for those who need it. This is not that. And it's not trying to be.
What I've watched over 23 years is this: for couples who are ready, who have the awareness, the skills, the language, fragmented sessions can actually get in the way. You build heat in the room, then leave. You cool down, come back, rebuild. The insight is there but the real shift stays just out of reach because you never stay present with what's hard long enough for it to actually move.
A Weekend Intensive changes the conditions. In 14 hours together, we can tend to the discomfort instead of rushing past it. We layer in somatic work, breath work, family mapping, and experiential exercises, staying with what emerges rather than wrapping it up neatly before you walk out the door.
This isn't about going faster. It's about going deeper.
Devoted Partnership Plan Pricing
RESET
The moment you stop rushing and start seeing what's really there.
The Pause Before the Pivot - For the couple that knows something has to change but needs space to figure out what that something actually is. One concentrated weekend to stop, look at each other clearly, and decide what comes next.
ROOTED
The commitment to tend to the discomfort through an entire season.
The Choice to Stay Even When It's Hard - For the couple choosing to stay present with what's real over an extended season of change. Two intensives, ongoing support, and consistent access that holds you through the hard middle, not just the breakthrough moments.
RHYTHM
To yourself, to truth, to each other, over and over.
The Practice of Returning - For the couple committed to partnership as a long-term practice, not a one-time fix. Four intensives over 18 months, deep integration support, and the space to return, again and again, to what matters.

Why This Works
The Fragmentation Problem
In weekly sessions, you build momentum in the room, then leave. You cool down, come back, rebuild from scratch. It's not a failure of the work; it's a limitation of the format. Real transformation often requires staying present with discomfort longer than 50 minutes will allow.
The Depth Solution
In 14 hours together, we can actually go there and stay. We layer in somatic work, breath work, family mapping, and experiential exercises to help you unpack what's been sitting in corners. This is where you get to lay it bare: this is what it is. This is what it would take for it to be different.
The Integration Piece
This isn't a one-weekend reset. Check-ins and virtual strategy sessions exist to help you implement what you uncovered, not just understand it. The support holds you through an entire season of change, not just the breakthrough moment.

Your Questions, Answered
-
Devoted Partnership works best for couples who are done talking about change and ready to be in it. You've likely done some individual or couples work before; you have skills and awareness but something is still stuck. You might be good but know you could be great, or you might be in a harder season but KNOW, not hope, not believe, that you can rebuild something better. Both of you are willing to show up. That's the baseline.
This is not the right fit if you're in active crisis requiring weekly containment, if either partner has untreated substance use or active domestic violence in the relationship, if you're new to therapeutic work and still building foundational skills, or if you're court-mandated. Not sure if you fit? Book a free consultation. I'd rather talk it through and point you somewhere better suited than have you invest in a process that isn't right for this season.
-
This is intensive coaching, not therapy. It's informed by 23 years of clinical expertise as a licensed marriage and family therapist, but Devoted Partnership operates as a coaching engagement. We're focused on depth, insight, and intentional change, not diagnosis, treatment, or ongoing weekly support. If you're currently in therapy, you can absolutely continue that work alongside this; many couples find the two support each other beautifully.

Two consecutive days, roughly 7 hours each with a lunch break and built-in pauses. You'll come in with an orientation of what we're working toward and we'll move through it together using a combination of conversation, somatic and breath work, family systems exploration, and experiential exercises. There's structure, but there's also room for what actually needs to emerge. By the end of two days, you'll have named what's real, explored what it would take to be different, and have a clearer sense of the path forward. Intensives are in-person only, held in curated private spaces in the DC metro area. Or I can come to you.
-
Once you've enrolled, you'll receive a calendar link on your membership site. Intensives require a minimum of 30 days advance notice; this allows me to secure the right space and prepare properly for your work together. I'm available Thursday through Monday, so there's flexibility in finding what works. If you need something sooner than 30 days out, reach out directly and we'll see what's possible.

Weekend intensives are in-person only. The depth of this work benefits from being in the same room. Virtual sessions are available for 90-minute strategy sessions (ROOTED and RHYTHM plans) and for Quick Check-Ins. If you're outside the DC metro area, I offer travel to major US cities and select international locations for a flat fee of $2,000 per intensive, all-inclusive.
-
Yes, and honestly, it often makes this work stronger. When both partners are doing individual work, they come into the intensive with more capacity to be present and less need to use the couple's space for individual processing. If you're each working with your own therapist, let them know you're adding this. I'm happy to communicate with treating clinicians when appropriate and a release is signed.
-
Book a free consultation. That's exactly what those conversations are for. We'll talk through where you are, what you're hoping for, and what makes sense. You can always start with RESET and build from there if the work calls for it. What I don't want is for you to choose a plan based on what feels financially safe rather than what your relationship actually needs.
-
Then this might be exactly right, or it might be too much too soon. The distinction is readiness, not severity. Couples who've been through serious rupture can do profound work in an intensive if both partners are willing to be present with the discomfort and KNOW that something better is possible. What makes an intensive hard to hold is active, ongoing crisis where weekly support is genuinely needed, or one partner who isn't willing to be there. If you're in a hard season but you're both showing up for this conversation, that already tells me something. Let's talk.

All services are non-refundable. But if your relationship dissolves while you still have credits remaining, those credits don't disappear. Remaining intensive and session credits can be transferred to individual work for either or both partners, or to another couple within reasonable limits outlined in your client agreement. The investment you made in your relationship becomes an investment in your own wholeness, whatever form that takes.
-
Yes. I work with couples in major US cities and select international locations. The travel fee is a flat $2,000 per intensive, covering airfare, lodging, and all travel costs. No additional fees on top of that. Travel fees are non-refundable once booked.
-
You can upgrade at any time; we'll apply what you've already paid toward the new plan. If life shifts and you need to pause the work, reach out. I handle extensions and pauses on a case-by-case basis for significant life circumstances.
-
More than 21 days notice: no fee, one free change permitted.
Fourteen to 21 days notice: $500 rescheduling fee.
Less than 14 days notice: 50% of the intensive fee.
Less than 7 days or no-show: full intensive fee is forfeited.
This policy exists because I secure private rental spaces for each intensive, often non-refundable, and hold dedicated calendar space for your work.
For genuine emergencies such as a medical crisis, family emergency, or natural disaster, reach out in writing and we'll work through it together.
Why Me.
Why This Work.
I spent 23 years as a licensed marriage and family therapist watching smart, successful, self-aware people tiptoe in the shallow end of their own transformation. They came in with language, with insight, with every book read and podcast listened to. They were still stuck. Still compartmentalized. Still going through the motions. I loved that work. And I knew something needed to change about the container.
I closed my 16-year group therapy practice to focus entirely on intensive coaching, because I believe that for people who are ready, depth is more transformative than duration. I'm not a healer and I'm not a fixer. I'm a doula for transformation. I create the container, I bear witness, I help you clean the mirror so you can see what's actually there. The transformation is yours to birth.
I bring 23 years of clinical wisdom alongside the cultural fluency that comes from being a first-generation Caribbean-American woman who knows what it means to hustle for worth, to code-switch, to carry the weight of success while quietly wondering why it doesn't feel like enough. I've spoken at TEDx, appeared on the TODAY Show, and serve on the boards of the Black Healing Collective and the Tigerlily Foundation. What matters most in this room is that I've spent two decades learning how to sit with people in their hardest moments without rushing them toward resolution.
I go deep quickly. I'm a little impatient for shallow work, in the best way. And I'm deeply comfortable sitting with you in what's hard, which means you don't have to perform readiness or resolve anything on a timeline. You just have to show up.
